Collaboration is the fancy name for the 1.0 of human life – doing things with others. Building social structures that are larger than us in most part is also building trust and finding sustainable ways of cooperating. We have been part of artistic-creative, hacker-maker, political and food sharing collectives, with varying success – sometimes feeling very valuable and hopeful, other times very drained and disappointed. What makes a good collaboration? What are our needs when in community? What can we learn from our previous experiences and from each other about the processes that make us feel supported? During this event, we are exploring difficult and nurturing collaborations through small group listening and sharing circles and are diving into our wishes and hopes to see what we can do for better practices that support all participants involved.
The application for the 4-month scholarship program at Wyvern Art Fund is starting soon. By exchanging experiences over food, we hope to better understand how to support social processes in artistic co-creations.
